thanks for your adyice good to know there is still hope its all very depressing my doctor wont see me untill the end off sept dont know if i can wait that long do you think i should go somewhere else or try and wait it out
LilLadyee: That's incredible. Depo has an extremely low failure rate, so what happened with you is almost unbelievable.
Marissa: Also, it can take anywhere from 18-24 months after the time of your last injection for the effects to wear off. It's possible that the Depo is just not out of your system yet.

I got pregnanat without having any period of any kind and I was on depo as well. so some how some way it is possible the chance is there. I was on it for 2 and 1/2 years. NO PERIOD!!!!! so if I wasn't ovulating how did I get pregnant? It can happen. check with your doctor maybe they can give you something to help with your period. I read on here all the time that women are using provera to start their periods. Maybe talk to you doctor and see if that is right for you.
I was off depo for 6 weeks then I got prego..So the possiblity is there. I may just be fertile mertile but it can happen. I'm 18.5 weeks prego. So I hope everyone coming off of depo still has hopes of having a baby.. Depo does some crazy **** to a womans body but you just have to have faith that it will happen if you really want it to. I just wish Depo wasn't even on the market. It really screws you up. Just my opinion though. But honestly for 6 weeks had no period coming off of it and I was told just like everyone else it takes 12-18 months to come out of your system and upto a year to even get pregnant or to have a period well No period so you must be able to ovulate without a period. I know its impossible that it happened but some how some way ovulation happend. So I just wish ever woman good luck who has a hard time getting that baby they want after DEPO...
BABY DUST TO ALL!
Depo Provera can have some very nasty effects and can wreak havoc on a woman's cycle. It sounds like you are possibly one of those unfortunate souls.
No, you cannot get pg if you are not having periods. The continuous absence of your period means that you are not ovulating and you absolutely cannot get pg without ovulation.
I highly recommend you see a doctor about your next step and getting your cycle back to normal. It sounds like only a doctor's help, possibly with Provera, will start your periods again.
Good luck!!
