pregnancy after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks pregnant in early April, I am not sure if I've had a period since as I did bleed for quite a while after I have done pregnancy tests for the last 4 weeks running and each time they have shown pregnant and the weeks have gone up accordingly so am fairly certian that I'm pregnant but am not sure if I should of had a "proper" period so could the tests still be wrong?

It is VERY likely that you are pregnant again. I had a miscarriage and waited for 6 weeks for my next period, which never came. I had conceived again in between that time. But I will tell you the truth; OB/Gyn suggest that you wait 1-3 cycles before atempting to get pregnant again. The reason for this is to restore the lining of the uterus. The proper thickness of the lining is important due to the fact that it provides the nutrients to the growing fetus. But I'm not trying to scare you. You can very well have a healthy pregnancy and go on to deliver a heathly baby. Hope this helps! Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. I wish you the best!

I think I read somewhere that some doctors count the miscarriage as bleeding and just go from that point.
