i had mine removed after 3 years ttc and got pregnant without a period right after it was taken out you can take a pregnancy test 2 weeks from the last time you had unprotected sex some women also have trouble getting their periods back i don't know if you'll have this trouble just a warning since it doesn't seem like your doctor mentioned it but you should definitely use condoms till you can start your birth control good luck
Thanx for ur reply, the day after i wrote my message i had small spotting but very small, lasted no time at all and now its completely gone, dont know whether to treat that as a period r not or is there still a chance i could have been caught?
hard to say your periods probably won't be very heavy at first but i'm not sure since i never had mine i would still take a test when its time maybe someone who got their periods after taking theirs out will see this and be able to give you a better idea of what a first period was like after it was removed sorry i couldn't be more helpful
I would definitely use a backup birth control method until you are able to get on the pill if you are wanting to prevent pregnancy. Some women take a few months to get their cycles to return. Please keep us updated.
hi, thanx4 ur comment, well started my pill after my small bleed but have started feeling sick at night, done another test on monday and still neg though it prob still 2 early, dunno what to think now!!
Have you been on the pill before? I know for me personally I tried it once and was sick literally for months, did not react well with my system at all. We had even changed it up and tried different kinds (this was when I was much younger though).
