My girlfriend is on her period

My girlfriend is on her period since last week saturday, so ever time we talk everything is fine. But it get to the point where she gets pissed off at me for no reasons. Then ten minutes later she will text back and say I'm sorry for being a ***** to you. And I say to her it's okay. I real don't know how to deal with this I need some advice. And you think I would know how to deal with cause I have 5 older sisters but i don't and I need help. How long do period usually last. Thanks to all who reply thank you Patrick

They usually last 5-6 days, all women get grouchy when there on there periods, my boyfriend dousnt come near me when im on mine lol, PMS is related to changes in the body's hormones. As hormone levels rise and fall during a woman's menstrual cycle, they can affect the way she feels, both emotionally and physically. Some women, in addition to feeling more intense emotions than they usually do, notice physical changes along with their periods — some feel bloated or puffy because of water retention, others notice swollen and sore breasts, and some get headaches.
