stoppy period

Just wanted to know, I only got a little bit of spotting this month and nothing else. Does that count as a period? I'm not pregnant, so it's not inplantation bleeding or anything.

i was several months ago, and that had stoped my period for 5 months. Then my doc gave me medicine to bring it back down again in september. Now this month without me taking any medication, i got a little bit of spoting, but not my usual regular period. was just wondering if my brown spotting counted as a period for this month.
