pregnant whilst on depo?
the last depo provera shot i had was late by a few days,and i had unprotected sex a few weeks later i bled which is something i havent experienced while on da shot ,could i be pregnant??i really hope i am,i feel so desperate to be pregnant its ridicolous but i dnt know if its the shot thats makin me feel like this im soo confused.im not gonna have another 1
I was reading your post. I am also in the same situation. I have been taking the depo exactly as i should (i acctually get it a couple days early) and have a drs appt this wednesday to see if Im pregnant. One thing about a depo is that it messes with the pregnancy test and makes them come out negative even if you are pregnant. My dr always does an internal ultrasound before he gives shots for this reason. You need to go to your doctor and tell him to do an ultrasound to be sure.
i really am confused now ,i was sick this morning!!!But with a negative pregnancy test im sure my body is playing tricks on me!
i went and took a test today it came back negative ,guess i am disappointed was hoping for a miracle,this shot has ruined my life im not even in control of my body no more,i didnt even do enough readin before gettin it ,jus went ahead an let them poison my body i feel like i have really let myself down ....o well ;-(
ok i get it ,no i dnt get heavy blood flow but this time i did ,im gonna take a test,i hope i am pregnant,altho from readin diffrent posts on here its probably my body playin horrible tricks on me ,ill let you know what happens
Your Dr's office should have made you pee in a cup before your shot. That way they do a pregnancy test and make sure your not pregnant. Every time I went for my shot they always done one even if I was on time for my shot.

Although the Dr.s disagreed with me, I got pregnant while I was on the depo shot and hadn't missed one. So it does happen. I'm not sure what the chances are, but it happend to me. Finaly when I convinced them to give me a pregnancy test they told me that I would most likly m/c early on. but now she is a wonderful beautiful 7 year old girl!
Do you have your af with the shot? Have you missed it yet? If you don't have one at all then test about 2 weeks after intercourse or go see your Dr.
