Ok so I have been trying to get pregnant for about 4 months, and i ovulated on march 25,2006 and had sex that day, the day before and the day after.  My cycle is always about 28-29 days, and today i am 3 days late for my period.  I have taken 3 hpt's and they are all negative.  My breast hurt just to touch them, my tummy is cramping like my period is coming and my temp. is slightly higher than normal ( i am always hot now).  Could it be just to early for the tests to pick up?  How long do i wait?

You said your last AF was Feb 18th, was this the first day or last day of your period? Since you had sex on the 15th I would say your chances of being pregnant is slim since you normally ovulate the week after your last period.  But its different for everyone.  Also since you took a HPT on April 5th and it was negative then I would say you are not pregnant.  You probably are streesed out about the chance of being pregnant then that is most likely the cause of your period being late.  If your concerned then go to the Dr to get something to jumpstart your period.  Or go and have a blood test done to be sure you are not pregnant.

The March 23rd test may have been too early to detect.. So the April 5th would be your best bet. Since it came out negative and you still havnt started your period.. (you're very late) Then you really should go to your doctor or a clinic to get a blood test done.
