Yes, to reiterate. It is never a period if you have bleeding when pregnant. It's maybe a bleed or spotting but not a period (washing out of the uterine lining-- or that would be a miscarriage).
Typically women that have some kind of bleeding the first month or two into pregnancy will note that it is not like a 'real' period (as it isn't one) and it is more like spotting, brown discharge and never has any blood clots.
good luck
thank you for sharing :)
No + p•test but - p•test
Might be too early or really negative
I did get my period that month...
But informations greatly appreciated thank you :)
It wouldn't actually be a period. Right? :>) The science of a period is shedding of the uterine lining which does not occur during pregnancy (as you don't ovulate starting the biological process/hormonal changes that result in the bodily process of menstruation).
But many women do indeed spot. yes, talk to your doctor about this but it's not really a period. good luck
My best friend had gotten pregnant and said she had a period the entire time of her pregnancy. Sometimes the spotting is normal and sometimes it's not. It's always good to check with the midwife or doctor when it's seen monthly after a positive pregnancy test to make sure that the fetus is still attached correctly to the uterine wall and growing in the correct position.
Hello and welcome. Some women do have bleeding/spotting but it is not a period. You do not ovulate when pregnant which I unfertilized, your body will expel the lining of the uterus . . . that obviously does not happen during pregnancy.
but some women spot/have bleeding. Have you had a positive pregnancy test?
