I had my surgery 2 weeks ago, I had the bladder and the rump worked on and I will tell you it has been a blessing getting this done. For the rectocele my vaginal opening was smaller just like before I had children and I am proud of how cute it is. I have had normal, unpainful and regular bowel movements and I am so happy. I had minimal pain to the point where I had to remind myself to be careful. I would recommend a stool softener, something that is light enough to take daily or every other day. I had one bowel movement that bothered me a little but it was not a feeling that I couldn’t handle, I had forgot to take my stool softener so I paid a little bit.
