severe cramping upon waking?

i'm 22, almost 23 years old and i have a very normal cycle. sometimes early and light lasting 3 or 4 days, sometimes cramps and a heavier flow, sometimes no cramps. nothing out of the ordinary, lasting a long time or severe. i usually get what i believe is ovulation cramping about halfway through my cycle, and it's always when i wake up... as though the whole shebang occurs while i'm asleep and i get to experience that pain first thing in the morning. as far as i know, this is pretty normal.

monday, four days ago, i woke up SEVERE cramping. i mean, made me want to scream, coming from the pelvic area - between my hip bones. i went downstairs to take ibuprofen and got extremely lightheaded and my vision went fuzzy, like i was going to pass out. then a wave of nausea, and i nearly threw up. but neither happened. i went back to bed to sleep it off and ended up sleeping a total of 14 hours.

a few more waves of pain that day, and then i just felt tender around my female organs. if i moved or bent a certain way, i was very aware of that area.

the next night, i had sex with my boyfriend. only it was really uncomfortable and painful. it felt like he was hitting my cervix each time, very hard.

i do know that during the exams i have had, two different doctors couldn't find my cervix because it is off to the left and not centered.

i have no clue what to make of this and everything i look up about pain during intercourse leads me to psychological causes which i know is not the case. i am fairly certain these two incidents are connected, but i can't figure what it'd be. i'm leaning toward ovarian cysts because it seems to be related to ovulation. any insight would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Sounds like ovulation to me.  It doesn't sound like your on the pill.  Hope you used protection.  If your still concerned, you really should be examined by a dr.

no, i'm not on the pill because for the entire 8 months that i was, i was miserable and depressed. tried 3 different kinds. yes, i use condoms. i don't think my method of birth control should be in question. but thanks.
