Periods that don't quit!

I started the mini pill 2 months ago and have had a period every 5-7 days which are lighter than usual but last up to 9 or 10 days. Could it be my system is having a bad reaction to it? I know irregular periods are a side effect, but I just feel I can't catch a break at all.

Yup, bleeding most of the month is correct. Thank you for your feedback

Hi there.  Welcome.  that is definitely not the norm.  Some women have start up issues when manipulating their hormones through the pill but this is a bit much.  Although I AM a little confused by the wording of your post.  You have periods every 5 to 7 days but they last 9 to 10 days.  Hm, well, in any regard, it sounds like you are bleeding most days of the month. That's not a good thing. So, go back to your prescribing physician and discuss this with them.  You may need to adjust the dose or take a different pill.  So, speak with your doc hon.  good luck
