this happins to alot of girls this happins to be because im on the pill and it tells me that its time for my period soon.
Are you on the pill? Maybe the B/C pills you are taking aren't
strong enough which can cause breakthrough bleeding. Could you
be pregnant? Sometimes you can spot if you are pregnant.
If there is a chance you might be pregnant, maybe you should
consider taking a HPT or going to your doctor for a blood test.
Just a thought.
nope, not pregnant -- Fiance is deployed..no way in hell I could be...lol. I havent been on bc for more than 2 yrs now. Im suppose to start them next month though.
This happened to me before I got on the pill. There is a hormone imbalance in your body between the hormones progesterone and estrogen. When you're not on your period, your progesterone levels are high and when they start going down, you start your period because estrogen levels go up. Estrogen levels start going down and progesterone levels go back up making you stop your period. BCP will help your levels get stable and hopefully they will stabalize themselves by the time you get off and want to have kids. I started off really irregular, spotting off and on like that, then I got on bcp for 10 years, and now my periods are like clockwork, well, not right now, I'm 27 weeks pregnant. But they were when I first got off the pill. HTH
Can information is useful and fully appreciated. Thanks Hi. In early February, the 3rd to be exact, I found out I was pregnant. My first day of my last period was on December 26, 2005. I have not bleed since then. According to my LMP date I should be 12 weeks pregnant, although when I went to get my sonogram this week on 03/21/2006, the sonogram shows the baby's development is that of a 7 week embryo. Should I be alarmed?
Thanks! If when I start the bc things dont seem to go back to normal, I'll make a doc appt...u really put me at ease since Ive been a lil stressed about my periods ever since I had a m/c back in Nov 2005.
Glad to help. I'd go ahead and start taking the pills after you get off your period, and if it continues to spot like that, contact your doctor. I was fine the first 6 years I was on the pill, never had a problem, and then I started breatk through bleeding in between periods. That's when I went to a specialist (who is also the one who explained the hormone imbalance to me) who said different bcp have different levels of progesterone and estrogen in them to regulate you. Sometimes you have to switch pill brands to find that right level that works for you. So, if you have this problem still after you get on the pill, this may be a cause for you too. You're normal, try not to stress.
