skin cancer?

hi, I am probably worrying about nothing, but I was just curious...I am a fair skinned person, and for as long as I can remember I have had this raised, blackish spot on my chest. I always just assumed it was a mole, but no it has started to morph. I know that sounds weird, but I don't know how else to describe it. It is becoming oddly shaped and peeling off in some spots. Could this be skin cancer, or just a strange mole?

when moles change shape, color, texture etc, it needs to be checked out by a dermatologist. chances are it's fine, but you should have it biopsied and possibly removed.

If anything on your body starts to change shape, color, texture, etc. You need to have it looked at.  Go to the Dr and have them do a biopsy on it.  Skin cancer is one of the most occuring cancers but can be easily treated.  It is always important to wear a sun screen when exposed to the sun to help protect your skin.

I had something that is a little the same except on my back. i always had this "mole". Then one day it started to bug me. It would hurt, itch, etc. I went to the dr and he did a biopsy. Turns out it was benign. You should see a dr for any moles that start to change. I would advise that you make a dr appt soon! Good Luck!
