smoking and periods

... ok how to put this.... ive all my life had a very regular period and since i moved out of my moms ive been smoking steadily... not horrible but anough... can smoking effect the length of my period , because it feels like ive been on my period for 2 weeks and i know this is not natural for me..

One time in high school when I was very stressed out I had my period for 2 weeks! It was terrible!

It is probably stress! Stress does the worst things for your body! I have never heard of smoking causing you to have a long cycle. Try to relax and see what happens or give your doc a call.
