strange nauseation and cramping

hi, Im currently 31 weeks and 6 days pregnant and since last night I've had severe nausea and cramping. I was just wondering if its something I should go to my doctor about or if it could just be a bug or something. I HAVE gotten the flu shot in the middle of October.

Unfortunatly you can get morning sickness day or night, begining, middle or the end of your pregnancy. There is a good chance that you might have caught a bug it being cold/flu season. The flu shot is great, but it doesn't protect from ALL flu's. Do you have a fever, cough, sore throat, stuffy nose etc?

What kind of cramping are you experiancing? With one of my pregnancies, when I went into labor I threw up and felt sick a good part of the labor. I'm not saying that is what is going on with you, but just watch for that. Can you describe what the cramps you are having?

Or it just could be something that you ate that doesn't agree with you.
Keep a close eye on yourself and if you are really worried call or go in and see your Dr. always better to be safe than sorry.

Do you get braxton hix contraction? The first stages of labor feel like you are going to start your period and cramps like a period. When you are on your period your uterus contracts and (usualy) have mild cramps. when you are in labor your uterus is contracting and get BAD contractions. Is this your first child? with my last baby I went into preterm labor 2 months early and I felt like I had period cramps. Is there any way that you could get into see your Dr. earlier? What other symptoms are you having? Are they strait or do they come and go. sometimes when you are in preterm labor they may not feel like contractions like when yuo are full term. I don't want to worry you. I just think yuo should keep that in mind. I have 4 kids and all the labors have felt a little different in their own way. With my 3rd baby my contractions never became regular and the Dr. told me that I wasn't in labor but when he checked me I was 5 cm dialted.

I'm sorry, I've never been pregnant so I have no advice other than just pay attention to your body and if you have any doubts call your doctor or the ER and they'll tell you whether or not you should go in. But I just HAD to tell you that your username made me laugh...it's funny. Sorry, just had to share.

the cramping and nausea havent gone away...yet... the cramping comes and lasts for i would say 10 minutes then it goes away, but only to come again in about an hour. Yes, this is my first pregnancy. And thanks, i love this name, it makes me laugh just knowing that others laugh at it sometimes.
