swollen vagina

Last night I had sex with my boyfriend and for the first 10 or 15 minutes he penetrated me with his boxers covering his penis. we then switched over to a condom, but when i woke up this morning, my vaginal lips are extremely swollen and it is uncomfortable to walk or sit. Is this because of the roughness with the boxers?  should i be worried?  how long should it take for swelling to go down?  what should i do to help the situation?

And his boxers most likely went through the wash before he put them on so you could be reacting to teh detergnt used in washing them. We are not used to being exposed to detergents internally so this along witht he friction of the fibers in the boxers could make for a painful situation..
Not sure why you guys chose to do it that was if the condom wsa there, and just so you are aware, you CANNOT use something pourous(contains even the tiniest holes) for protection. The sperm are a lot smaller than the mesh of the fibers in the underwear and can swim right through them. So make sure to wear a cndom each and everytime to avoid this happening again and I would agree taht an icepack may help with the symptoms til the swelling goes down.
Hope you are feeling better very soon!

I'm not sure about the name of the condoms, but I would think that the boxer friction did it. Try to wear loose clothes for the next few days, maybe even go without underwear, soak in the tub, that might help.

FYI--sheep skin condoms don't contain any latex.  They protect against preg. but they're not as safe against some STD's.

it sounds to me like you had an allergic reaction to the condom. it also very well could be related to the friction caused from the boxers but not as likely as a reaction to the condom. im glad you decided to use one but dont let this stop you from using one next time. there are some condoms out there that you can buy that do not cause an allergic reaction. maybe put some ice in a wash cloth and apply it, that may help.

i am counting on another poster to help me out w. the name of the condoms.
