Well, hon, there are so many great things about being female that (once you get used to it) you embrace even a "juicy" nether region, as a sign you are a healthy and vital woman. Being a healthy and strong female is something to be proud of, even if it gives you a bit of a rocky ride right at the beginning. It's not like you can't dance, kick, swim, jump and all that, you just need to keep good hygiene (which you would do anyway) and wear your pads or tampons if you're on your period, and (if you're well endowed) wear your sports bra for sports. I promise, it doesn't slow you down. Like anything else, the unfamiliar takes a few times to get used to, but it's pretty much a matter of course after a while.
You don't have to tell your mom. The only time to tell her is if there is something unusual going on that makes you suspect an infection. It's possible to go through life and never have a vaginal infection (I'm living proof of this) so don't let that idea throw you much. You would know if there was a problem.
all i want to say is that it S

that ***** that it stays wit u until im a grandma.hey should it ell my mom about this or can i keep it to my self???????????????/
Sure. You can google "vaginal discharge" or "normal vaginal discharge" for more information. Totally normal, and it will be with you forever (or at least until you're a grandmother's age). Why do you think the "minipad" and "pantiliner" industries are in existence? lol
Main thing is, the vagina is a self-cleaning body part, and the fluid drains out. I didn't particularly like this aspect of being female when I first learned about it, but one gets used to it.
All the best.
It could take a few weeks. Vaginal discharge is just a signal of a generally maturing body, not a specific schedule that the period is coming that instant.
The white stuff will be maybe a half-teaspoon a day, it is nature's way of keeping the inside of your vagina clean. It will be milky looking and thin most of the month. Sooner or later a couple of days a month only, it will change to be clearish, thicker and stretchy (like egg white), also in pretty small quantities like a half teaspoon. Once you start getting the clearish kind every month, your periods will probably start to come. Wear cotton panties for absorbency, and don't fret, it is totally normal and just a standard part of being female.
thanks it really helps .but one more question..... how come im not geting craps or anything like my mom said i would be getting when its nearby?????
This is completely normal. It means that your body is starting to change, you're just coming into puberty. I remember getting the exact same thing when I was your age, and it seems so strange at first, but you will get used to this. Even when you start to get your period (this natural discharge is your body's way of saying it's soon!) you will notice that you are wetter down there than when you were a child, it's completely normal and apart of being a woman
i am 12 and need help.
i dnt have my period im not sexually active
this white stuff keeps comeing out of my lower part
and onto my underwear
it has a faint smell
it dosnet itch
and im too scared to tell anyone
it's normal, everyone has vaginal discharge...i'm a virgin too and it happens to me. Usually it happens when your period is about to come on or just went off. It is totally normal as long as it doesn't have an odor with it or doesn't itch,if it does itch/have an odor that may mean you have a yeast infection and need to see a doctor...
and i havent started my period either idk what to do!!!
i clean my self daily and i am still a virgin. help!!!!!
