trying for a baby

we have been trying to get pregnant for a month with no luck.  i have been off birth control for 3 months now but i was on it for 7 years.  is there any relation to this or do you think it was wrong timming.  we did not have intercourse ever other day but we did have intercourse around the middle of the month.  my periods usually last about 5-6 days with about a 30 day cycle instead of 28.  any suggestions.

after i got off of bc i tried and tried and i couldnt get pregnant they said that it takes time after you get off for some it takes no time and others 4-12 months even maybe longer. for me it took 4 months. ovulation test are not very expensive and all you have to do is pee on it and it will give you results even wait 12 days after your period and go crazy on haveing sex. keep trying it will happen, it just takes time.. good luck..:)

You can buy some of thos ovulation predictors, honestly don't know how well they work.  When I got pregnant it wasn't planned but when we tried to figure out the due date... we googled an ovulation calender and you can type in some info. on your cycle and then it will tell you when you are ovulating and most fertile and then when you would be due if you did get pregnant...  You might want to go to the Pregnancy fourm, or fertility fourm, those ladies may be able to help as well!  GOOD LUCK!
