i also have been feeling pregnant back pain, cramps in my stomach, heart burn, moody, periods only lasting 2 days out of a mouth for 3 months now and always have been regular had a preg test and blood work done but both come out neg. i still feel like i'm pg but i also think i going nuts. is there any way that i still could be and the tests are just not picking it up. i have had my tubes clamped for 11 yrs now.
A friend of mine conceived after having her tubes tied. it's possible...take a test.
If you haven't already, then you need to take a pregnancy test. Depending on how long it's been since you had that 1 1/2 day period, you may want to wait a week and take another one, if the first is negative. If you do get a positive, you need to go to the doc and get a u/s. Because you have clamped tubes, you are at a higher risk for ectopic(tubular) pregnancy, which can be life threatening. If you still test negative after both tests and you aren't having any kind of discomfort or symptoms then I would wait a cycle and just see if your cycle got out of whack. But if you start to have sharp lower abdominal pains, diarrhea, fever, chills, flu-like symptoms, then you need to go to the doctor or er for a u/s, you could have an ectopic pregnancy and still test negative on a hpt. Good luck.
My friends mother got pregnant after her tubes were tied. I don't know if that is the same as them being clamped. I do know that there is no birth control that is 100% effective except no sex. And a hysterectomy. the chances are you are not pregnant, but it'a always possible. Take a test and that will tell you. A womans hormones can get all messed up for no reason at all and cause all kinds of weird things to our bodies. Good luck.
were you 18 when you had it done? You said that you regret it, ever thought about a reversal? good luck and let us know how the HPT turns out
believe me i know how you feel i had mine clamped in 2001 and also regret it have had 1 miscarriage about 3 months ago and now i'm wondering if i may be pregnant again. but you should definately see your obgyn
