vaginimus

I'm curious, has anyone ever heard of Vaginimus. It's a condition concerning the pelvic muscles, I think I might have it, so I wanted to know if it's a real condition. I saw that on a site. But to get help you need to pay for the instructions.
Thanks

How do you deal with dyspurenia, I'm not sure if I have that but if I do I would like to know what kind of treatment to you get. I have a tilted vagina, at times i get itchy, specially if I work my 8 hours and walk alot. At times also I get lots of discharge. I had to try a different sex position, it didn't hurt as much but still burn anyways, not pleasurable for me. Thanks.

Oh yes, it definitely exists. It's an involuntary physical reaction to anxiety--the muscles around your vagina essentially spasm, preventing comfortable penetration (and sometimes preventing any penetration at all). Check out www.womentc.com, and their book, "Private Pain". Also, there's at least one yahoo group (I think) devoted to vaginismus info and support.

If this does sound like something you're experiencing, you'd benefit from seeing a sex therapist. Usually the treatment is a combination of sex therapy and physical therapy.
