I've been recently diagnosed with vulvodynia, pelvic floor disfunction, and possibly Interstitial Cystitis so I definitely understand the fear you're having. I went to a pelvic pain specialist so you might search for one in your area and try to get in. I'm not sold on the IC diagnosis yet, as a urologist told me I don't have that. All I know is it's totally frustrating. I'll have a few "good" days and think maybe it's going away, then I can feel the burn setting in. I refuse to give up, to just accept that I'm going to be in pain and discomfort for the rest of my life. I think talking about it to each other, hearing what others have tried, might help us all.
Good luck, and please let us know if you find a doctor that sheds some light on things.

Have you seen a doctor or got a diagnosis? I too am starting to think that I have vulvodynia. I have found lots of info and support groups on line. One of those is NVA.ORG. There are lots out there. I'm trying to not read too much on the internet because it is scaring me to death. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's difficult at this point. I'd love to hear how you are doing, as I would be happy to share my story. Maybe we could help eachother.
