Vaginal cuts that go away in a day - yeast infection?

I had unprotected sex on Sunday April 23rd and have been freaking out since because a few days later I found two small cuts on the inside of my left labia. I have to add that I was also swimming all day that day and after lounged around/slept in my swimsuit. I had also just gotten back the Thursday before from a 12 hour flight. So I had all the stress which was topped off with having unprotected sex (drank too much do not judge me please). That entire weekend I drank and slept about 4 hours a night because we were celebrating a wedding.
Anyways, these two cuts went away within a day but I was experiencing some itching throughout my entire vagina. I ignored it but then I found another cut at the bottom of my labia near the vagina opening so I decided to go see a doctor. She told me that she was not going to tell me that I have herpes because it looked like a yeast infection and that a yeast infection can be caused by all the stress I've been going through and how I treated my body the entire weekend. She said that I yeast was most likely getting onto the skin and causing these cuts.

So she prescribed me fluconazole on Monday. I took it that afternoon but the next day I found two more cuts. Every time I find these cuts they go away in a day so that's why I think is weird. They haven't been there for longer than one day so the two cuts were gone by Wednesday. I no longer have itching after taking the pill three days ago. I do have anxiety disorder so I'm not sure if I'm just letting my anxiety get to me. She swabbed me because I asked her too but my anxiety is killing me while waiting. Does anybody have experience with this?

Sorry about the discomfort.  Things can itch as they heal--- that's normal.  Scabs on our body will itch as they heal too. And things are getting better so I would try not to worry. Hang in there.
