sounds like me... i still get nauseous all the time and i am on my 3rd shot... i wont be getting the 4th
Sounds like depo may not be the best thing for you. I would keep track of when, what, where and how long th nausea last, and take it to your doctor. Sounds like you ma y be allergic to it.
I had one injection of the depo-provera shot and that was it for me. I had the same nauseous feeling all of the time. My Gyno told me when I went to him that some bodies can not handle that large of a dose in their body at once. It is a high enough dose put into to last for 3 months. So the first month the body is over whelmed by the shot. After about a month and a half my nausea finally went away. But after those 3 months were up I was up with the shot. Never did it again.
I wouldn't recommend it.
I have the mirena placed inside of me that lasts up to 5 years. I would recommend it because it is so much better made and everything than the past. I would recommend it if you can tolerate miserable pain down below for up to 20 minutes. If you have had children the pain wouldn't be as much, but I haven't had children so my vagina wasn't stretched from having children so it was much more painful. I am not sure if when I get it removed if I will want it back in again. The pain was mortifying, I was crying and I can tolerate pain but this pain I didn't not expect.
