what do you guys think?

i finally went to my gyno. yesterday about my "spotting after sex" problem.  she wanted to do an exam and get a good look at my cervix and said she could see a "raw looking peice of skin" on my cervix and she said she thought that was the problem.  she said it kinda looked like trauma or something.  she cauterized it and said not to worry about cervical cancer because this wasn't that.  so, would you guys do just that, not worry anymore or would you insist on furthur investigation?  i am a cyberchondriac if that helps.(that is a hypochondriac that searches the web for diseases)

haha thats cute.  I think im a bit like that too.  If you are still worried go get a second opinion or have this doc do a biopsy.  Or maybe a Pap is all you need.

I am surprised that she didn't biopsy it in the first place. I had to have a neuroma removed from my finger once and it was biopsied, just to make sure. Same thing with my daughter. They usually biopsy EVERYTHING!! Just strikes me as odd that she really couldn't identify what it was and still didn't investigate further. I'd get a 2nd if I were you.. Good Luck!
