who could be the father?
Ok. In a couple of weeks I will getting a paternity test for my child who was born on February 17th. If this test comes out negative (with present boyfriend) he is going to leave me, so I need to know what my chances are. When I first went to the doctor, I got an ultrasound to determine my due date and date of conception. I found out I was 7 weeks pregnant, and that my expected due date was february 5th and date of conception, may 15th. I had sexual relations with my ex around the 21st of april one time. The whole month of may I had sex with my current boyfriend. I had another ultrasound weeks later that determined the same info. So in sumary, my expected due date was feb. 5 (conception may 15th) but my baby was born 6 lbs 14 ounces on feb. 17th. Is there ANY way that my ex could be the father?
If the last time you were with the guy other than your boyfriend was in July the year before your son was born, there is no way he could be his. If you had gotten pregnant by him last July, your son would have been born in April this year. You shouldn't worry, he is your boyfriends.

In a couple of days i will get a DNA test for Paternity....I don't think I shoudl worry but when people keep saying so much **** it gets to your head. I just had a Baby he was born June 7th and i was with someone last year on July 15 and since August i was with my boyfriend...i remember i had a period in August but i'm not sure about September my so the doctors couldn't go by my last period. My first ultrasound said that my due date would be June 9-10 the second said June 8 the last one said June 6.....is there any chance that it could be the other guy? I just want to not worry about having the test done....please can anyone just give me any comfort about this situation?

I have a problem right now I'm not for sure who the father of my baby could be. I went to the doctor and he told me I am 11 weeks pregnant I will be 12 weeks on Friday of this week. My due date is April 3rd 2007. I had sex with a ex-boyfriend on June 23rd and I am almost positive I had a period 3 days later but not for sure. I then had sex with my new boyfriend on July 10th and found out on July 28th I was pregnant. I've went back and counted starting with the week after I was with my ex-boyfriend and from that week til this friday that would be 12 weeks, if you go by the dates I was with my new boyfriend it would be 9weeks. If I am adding it all up right I'm not sure. I mostly confused because I am almost sure I had a period 3 days after I was with my ex-boyfriend. Can you have a period that close to intercourse and still be pregnant. My period before June was May 30th so would I had even been ovulated around June 23rd anyway? I am so confused and don't know what to do I haven't told my doctor any of this and I need to figure out could this baby be my ex-boyfriends instead of my new boyfriend?

i don't know if this will help any but i got pregnant for my first kid on may 25.my dr told me my due date was feb 11 and i had my little boy on the 3rd of feb. and he was 6lbs 11oz. so odds are your current b/f is the father.hope this helps!
When my daughter was born I was given 3 differnt due dates. I didn't have the problem of wondering who's it was but at the same time a due date can never really be correct its just an approximate time the baby should be born. It sounds to me like your current boyfriend needs or wants the test for his own sanity. There is no way you could have concieved in april with your ex if your baby was born 2 weeks PAST the doctors estimated due date. Good luck.

No, you're absolutely right. That baby would be way overdue, and weighed more than 6 lbs. They pack on 1/2 lb every two weeks at that point, and she would have had a whopper.
oh and being that you had your baby at that weight 12 days AFTER your edd even makes me think your chances are even better. If you concieved in April.. that baby would have been waaay overdue and should have been much bigger you would think (of course thats all basing things off a non medical opinion)
even though you due date was 10 days after it was supose to be... and even if u concieved 10 days after it still would have been in may.. so i dont think you could have concieved in april... i think it is ur current b/f. hope this helps
it is unlikely that the intercourse you had in April is the baby's father. I too have a Feb baby and May was my conception. In "ideal" conditions sperm can last 5 days.. and in some freak incidents even a week... but when you are not about to ovulate, the conditions are not as sperm friendly and usually the figure is more like less than 3 days.
And as for the scans.. the hospital here told me that pre-12 week scans done by a licensed tech are +/- 3 days... after the 1st trimester though they can vary MUCH MUCH more

A baby spends 38 weeks in the womb, although the docs figure 40 weeks as full-term, counting from the date of the mother's period before conception, which is usually two weeks. If your baby was born on February 17th of 2006, 38 weeks would put conception on May 27. Even at 40 weeks in the womb, conception would be on May 13, 2005. If you conceived on April 21, 2005, your baby would have spent 43 weeks in the womb. I think this is very unlikely, especially given the babies weight. You can be quite confident that your current boyfriend is the father.

But answer this - did you have a period after you were with your ex?? Somewhere around May 1st, I assume. If that period was normal, then there's no way this baby belongs to your ex.

my baby was already born on february 17th. The expected due date was supposed to be february 5th making the expected date of conception may 15th, I had relations with my ex in april. so seeing as though my due date was almost 10 days after my expected due date, would it be possible for me to of conceived in april?
