Left leg pain and increased blood pressure

I am trying to decide if I should be concerned about my health right now.  I am a 44 year old female.  About one month ago I started having a dull pain in the back of my left knee with swelling.  The pain and swelling have gradually gotten worse and spread.  The front and back of my calf are swollen now as is the thigh.  I am now also having quite a bit of pain in my hip.  the pain gets worse after walking around too much or after sitting too much.  I used to have very good blood pressure, averaging 120/70.  the last couple of days it has been averaging 145/95 with a pulse of 90 or greater.   I do not have insurance so going to the doctor is a big dicision for me.   Could there be a serious problem I need to worry about.

i agree with casscore. My mother-in-law had a blood clot in her left leg and it sounds like you have all the symptoms she has. you need to get it checked

I would definitly go to the doctor. Your symptoms sound like a possible blood clot. I understand that insurance is a big deal, but you are more important than money!
