I have heard that the three day treatments usually don't work.  If you don't have any relief when you finish it go get a 5 or 7 day monistat treatment.

Vagisil cream will help with the itching, but will not get rid of the yeast infection. Also, you may want to try garlic, preferably the odorless capsules, because garlic kills yeast instantly. Taking garlic on the regular basis can help prevent or help the severity of yeast infections.

Good Luck!

Use the 7 day treatment to treat the yeast infection.  Also use the vagisil to help w/the itching.  If, however, it persits after a week of treatment, you must see a doctor.  (I assume you have had yeast infections before, so you know what your experiencing.)

If you have treated yourself with an otc yeast med and have no relief from symptoms, then most likely you do not have a yeast infection.

There are many other causes for vaginal itching. I would really recommend not treating yourself with anything else until a doc can evaluate you. If you keep trying to treat the itch, and then go to the doc, they will not be able to see the whole picture which will in turn delay the diagnosing of the problem. This really, could set you up for much bigger problems.

For temporary  itch relief, I find a frozen water bottle will ease the symptoms.
