Progesterone levels

Hello, I have another question for you.  I have a 28 day regular cycle.  With ovulation around cd14 or 15 according to temping and OPK. I had a cd22 progesterone test done last month and was told yesterday that the level was 54 which i'm told is a good level.  What does this test mean exactly?

I had trouble coneiving and then got pregnant after 1 cycle of follistim and timed intercourse..my beta was 29 and progesterone was 4.9 on 200mf of prometrium already! They increased progesterone to 1000mg a day for 14 weeks and my progesterone never went over 9! But 9 months later my beautiful, healthy son was born! This month we are on our 2nd round of follistim and IUI hoping for another miracle! We are still considered "unexplained"..hope this helps!

Unfortunately, progesterone levels do not indicate anything other than a "good ovulation." However, 54 is a very good level! In a normal, unmedicated cycle, they're typically looking for a level of 10 or higher. Best of luck to you!!!
