At what point or should i say what size does an archnoid cyst have to grow to be considered for surgery? I have been told that archnoid cysts can be present since birth even. I have been seen by two neurologist and have conflicting answers to treatment. My archnoid cyst is 4.7cm and is located on the pineal area of the cerubellum. I have had several dibilatating headache everyday for the past three months. Please tell me at what size does an archnoid cyst have to grow before it should be considered for surgery?
