I am having the same symptoms. My doctor prescribed me an inhaler to clear my airway. I am not even sure if it is working or not as I feel the same chest tightness and occassional coughing. Has anyone found a diagnosis for these symptoms? It is bothering me so much... Thank you for your sharing.
Just wondering if you have heard or learned anything about your symptoms. I have had these same issues for about 4 months now and it is slowly getting worse. It seems to have started right around the time I went on a diet. I have lost 40 pounds and was thinking that this should make me feel better not worse. I also have very little stress in my life (at least I didn't until these symptoms started). I am an ex-smoker for some years now but I do have asthma. This is different though and it is freaking me out. I am starting to worry that my kids aren't going to have a dad if this continues to worsen. I thought I twisted something in my back and have gone to see a chiropractor a few times, but I still have numbness/pain just under my left shoulder blade. Sometimes if I force all of the air from my lungs then take a short breath and repeat several times I am able to cough deeper and I feel better for a little while, but I am not sure what to do. Thanks for your posts. I am sorry you are going through something similar, but I feel a little better knowing I am not alone.
I have these exact same symptoms. I have seen two Dr's and both say it's stress and give me depression and anxiety pills but the pain is still there. I worry because my throat feels like it's closed up and it's hard to swallow. Sometimes I sound hoarse and I clear my throat a lot. Constantly grabbing my chest and by the end of the work day I just want to lay down for relief of the back and shoulder pain.
