cloudy fluid from breast
I am a 43 years old mother of 3 children all in there 20's. There is no way I am pregnant and today i discovered a cloudy substance coming from my right breast. Any ideals what it may be?

When a woman is not lactating, there still can be a small amount fluid in the ducts which is normal.This fluid can be many colors... green, gray, white, brown, blue and black. The amounts of discharge vary with different women.
Most nipple discharges are caused by benign conditions, such as duct ectasia or benign papillomas.
Women who are on birth control pills and some tranquilizers, produce more prolactin and may have more discharge. Usually there is nothing to be concerned about.
When to be alarmed about discharge is when it happens only on one side, comes out spontaneously( without squeezing),is persistent, bloody or clear and sticky like egg white.
If your nipple discharge is spontaneous and has any of these qualities,I would advise you to see a breast specialist for special tests to determine if there is an abnormal problem.
