Feel love by me
I don't know if this is spiritual enough but its true I think
I was walking alone along the darkened path when I came across a warm being of light. It spoke "I wish only for your happiness tell me how to help you" I said love me. "the being reached out and gave me a kiss and was soon on its way. Again I walked the path and came to the same being and again it asked " I wish only for your happiness tell me how to help you" I responded with " Let me be loved" and the being brought people to stand beside me. I walked the path once more and came to the being. " I bring you love and I show you love why are you still unhappy." I responded with " I do not feel loved" The being frowned and said "I can love you and I can bring you love but I cannot make you feel loved"
I personaly feel this to be true in many people's lives. There are often kids who have loving families yet they dont feel loved and I think this is kinda the more reason (at times) that we simply do not feel loved and that is not the always the fault of anyone else.
I'm not real Good at this poetry stuff
Putting my beliefs into words can be real tough
I pray and ask God to help me be a better person
The days that I don't, my life tends to worsen
I'm not always sure what is right and wrong
My faith in Him builds as He lets me live on
Life's lessons are taught with each days experience
First left foot then right foot repeat them as needed
I did say I wasn't Good at this stuff. HE HE HE!!!
A story and a poem ( very short) by Mary Lou Van Atta
Her son was murdered in an attempted armed robbery. This happened 13 years ago.
She thought that she would never recover from her grief and loss. But she did.
And she gave permission to use her poem:
I AM
The "I" that is me-
you cannot see.
You only see the form
that you think is me.
This form that you see,
will not always be;
but the "I" that is me
-lives eternally-
Blessings to all,
Nikodicreta

About your question I would say yes. Poetry seems to be a way of throwing an idea out there that you can't find simple words for.
Wow
