Kidney stone stuck at the tip of my penis

I was passing a kidney stone.  It made it through the urethra, but must have twisted before exiting.  It is now stuck just inside the tip of my penis.  It bled at first (I guess because of irratation).  Now its just stuck there.  I am able to urinate, but the flow puts pressure on the stone and it HURTS.  It has been 4 days.  What should I do?

Hello,
The stones truck in the urethra or ureters need to be removed as early as possible because it carries the risk of hydronephrosis or pyonephrosis of the kidneys. I suggest you to consult a urologist immediately and get it immediately managed. You may need uerteroscopic removal of the stones.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.

Hi, I suspect this to be my problem also.  Did they scan your penis to see it was there?  They have did scans on me but said I was clear but I don’t know if they checked my penis.  I keep having a throbbing pain just inside my penis and on the ride side of the head.  Thanks for any help!

Hi:

I had a similar thing happen to me 5 years ago.  My stone got stuck about an inch or so from the tip.  Eventually, it did come out on its own.  But, I phoned my urologist and he said that if it did not come out on its own after a few days, OR if I was unable to urinate at any time (which would have been an emergency situation at that point), they would have to numb up my urethra with a local and go in and extract it.

I hope this helps and that you get relief soon.
