Due the 29th. Never had this?

Im 38 weeks, I went in to the er last night to get checked cause my contractions were 5 minutes apart, Im one cm dilated so they sent me home, today my contractions still havent left but im not timing them, an I just noticed like a bit of brown discharge, the lady said I might bleed a lil cause she did check me but ive had sex an never bled an i didnt get this till right now an she checked me at midnight last night. Idk what it is? scared me though. is it just a lil blood? or my mucus plug? idk

When they checked me last week my mucus plug came out later that night , and I was checked again today and I started having some cramping and bleeding a little but it's normal to have it when yur cervix gets checked so don't be surprise if it happens again (:

If it's mucus like then yeh it can be mucus plug , it can be pink red or brown , it's like thick vaginal discharge with blood , it looks nasty , when mine came out last week it was something I've nevr seen before so that's how I knew lol :)
