How long for HCG trigger shot to leave my system?

I took my trigger shot on Monday, and had my IUI on Wednesday- I was just wondering how long it takes for the trigger to get out of my system.  I had the Novarel(sp?) shot and I think the number on it was like 10,000.  I tested today (knowing it would show positive)but after seeing so many neg's over the last 3 1/2 years, I just wanted to see a positive again- even if I know it's not the real deal.....insane, I know, but I just couldn't help myself.  Any ideas would be great.  I hope you all have an amazing weekend!

Hi Ladies!!!! Soooo I took ovidrel 250mg on 8/26/2010 and had my IUI on 8/27/2010. I tested + yesterday evening and early this morning (9/7/2010). My dr. wants me to come in for blood test 9/10/2010.

Symptoms: Sore boobs and fatigue

I took ovridel and my doc said 10 days. I got a beta + 11 days after ovridel and he garantie me that I am pregnant. It's not ovridel anymore.

I took the ovidrel injection.  The nurse said to wait to test for 15 days after the injection.  Of course I could not wait that long.  I think I tool one at 8-10 days and it was positive (probably from the hcg shot).  Then I took one at maybe 13 days and it was negative.  Then by day 15 got a slight positive.  Am now 10 weeks!

ur funny... i was going to do the same thing and as i went to get the test from the box... the box was empty!... i just wanted to see a postive too...lol

Last time, I tested at 8 dptrigger and got negative result.  I started testing for pg at 10 dpiui and got bfp on 11 dpiui.
