Antibiotics

I have been taking Doxycycline for Lime Disease.  I've been on it one week (2 weeks to go).  I now have vaginal discharge and itching.  I know this is typical.  As I'm about to go travelling for vacation, I'd like to know any natural remedies, rather than adding another drug, to counteract the effect of the antibiotic.  I am also taking Celebrex and Amitrytiline.  Thank you.

There are many natural remedies for yeast infections. Garden of Life makes the best yeast detox called Fungal Defense, but if you are going on vacation, I would wait until I got back to start taking it.While acidophilos is good, you actually need a bifidophilos for both the small and large intestine.Tea tree oil is a wonderful anti fungal as are garlic and oregano. You can actually make a garlic suppository to insert in your vagina before bed. You use a garlic clove wrapped in cheesecloth. You can use some olive oil to lubricate for easy insertion.

Sounds weird but... tea tree oil really helps - stings a bit at first tho! or take Lactobacillus Acidophilus - this is the bacteria that lives inside you normally which the antibiotics kill off, leaving you with the the itching burning etc. Taking them in capsule form helps re build them

I know that certain antibiotics (not sure if what you are taking is an antibiotic) can cause vaginal yeast infections.  There are natural things that can help such as yogurt.
