spot in right lung

hello there! i am a 32 years old male and smoke for a few years, a few days a go i when to have my physical done and after they did a chest x-ray they told me that they found a spot(classification deposit) on my right lower lung. i have to go do a ct test in three days and i am worry a lot, i need somebody to help me answer me if you could some if you expierience before anything like that pls. thanks

thang you sir, i have to go do my CT test tommorow morning and you make me feel better

If its the same thing I have had, its called a lung nodule. Most times they are nothing to be worried about. Could be a scar from an infection such as pneumonia. Most times they will take a CT scan wait 6 months and take another to see if it is growing or changing in any way.
