results of 3hr glucose

Well the results of my 3 hour glucose test are in.......................I FAILED. Apparently i have gestational diebetes. I dont know anyone who has ever had this so if any of you have i'd appreciate any insight you might have on the issue. I cant believe this, this week has been horrible one, thing right after another with this pregnancy, thank god its friday. i wont get to see my doctor until my sechuduled appointment on the 3rd since she is away. So right now i am kinda just in limbo. i have no idea what to do and i'm worried.

I think you'll be fine. I have heard alot of woman failing it and they are ok. I passed the diebetes part but failed the amemic part. I have to take extra iron pills and they make me sick so I just take them before I go to bed. I really do think you'll be ok though. Just keep us posted on what your doc says.

Thanks, 2 weeks ago I found out i was anemic too. So i have been just feeling pretty run down lately, hopefully when i se my doctor on thursday i'll have some more knowledge on what i am supposed to do to keep this under control

I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well! Is there anything they can do to help you?? Did they put you on a strict diet or anything to help aid in this situation. I thought for sure I was going to fail my test, but to my surprise I did not. I wish you all the best luck and hopefully you will be feeling a lot better real soon!!

today i had that test and it was positive.im 32 wks peggers.and 3wks ago found out i was severly aneamic.have tried myself to enjoy this my pregnancy but just seems to be one thing after another.at 17wks after blood test for downs syndrome it came back as 1/35 chance.really trying to stay positive but its proving to be really testing..im 37 and of small frame and eat healthy..how bout you???
