how can   rezoom lenses be so great when i suffer constant haloes at night my first lens was implanted 14mnths ago haloes have been relentles so under advice of the surgeon i had my other eye implanted 3weeks ago his assurance was that if i had both my eyes fitted the haloes would clear up butt it is not clearing up be warned you may be better off wearing glasses than suffering to the point of suicide .  it looks like i am yet another victim of implant surgery , and after all the anxious days of the haloes it looks like more surgery to remove the rezoom lenses at my further expence and the risks associated (eye disease & at best the glasses i was told to throw out placed back on my head what atotal disaster not to mention the pain suffering &finacial loss  be warned not conned. uncle bob

There is a huge body of unhappy patients posting here that should make anyone considering multifocal IOL to stop and re-consider.  The worst is the ReZoom and in  my opinion there is never a reason to put this lens in a human eye. Remember that at a meeting this year a room of over 200 eye surgeons no one said they would consider putting a ReZoom in their eye.

I too had a rezoom lens implanted in my right eye 3 years ago. Although I have excellent 20-20 vision in that eye during the day for distance, I also have halo's at night and still cannot read with this eye. I was not told I could explant the lens so I am still trying to adjust to the vision even after 3 years. For the amount paid out of pocket, it was not worth it.

Thank you for posting your experience.  It will help others all over the world make a decision about ReZooms.  Yes, your experience involves financial loss, but surely it's not something that merits contemplating suicide about.  An experienced surgeon should be able to safely explant your ReZooms and replace them with something you'll be happier with (maybe aspheric monofocal lenses).  And if your lenses are set for "blended vision" (i.e., distance vision in dominant eye, intermediate in non-dominant), you may be able to function without glasses for many (most?) tasks.  Best wishes for improved vision.
