Litapoo & starrdiva - I totally understand where you're coming from. I too had the same situation - what we did was borrow the money. There are many payment "plans" or ways to finance this procedure.
From what I understand, taking out the clamps or reversal is cheaper than IVF. IVF or reversal are your only reliable chances to get pregnant. We also saved some before **** IVF (did that because of my age) - that helped a lot.
I've been in a relationship for two year's and have had the clamps on for three yrs. I would like to get pregnant by my husband that cares about me and I can't afford it. I just feel that it isnt fare to him that he takes care of my three children that I've had from my previous marriage. He's a good man works very hard to support us. I know that he wants a kid of his own. Now I feel that I've have punished myself thinking that I would never find someone that really cares for me so much because of past experenice from my ex-husband. Sometimes I wish that I've never had gotten the clamps on my tubes. Because now a good person have to suffer from a big mistake that I've made.
Hmmm! I think the only other way would be IVF, but that usually comes to $10,000 or more when you add the meds. How much does it cost to have the clips removed?
