I meant to say I have seen a lot of --en, not --an names.Like "Holden," and some names from James Joyce, one of my literary loves.
I am so sorry. I have made a mental note, but sometimes I make the error again. I guess it's because I know Irish names that end in "an." It's Irish, right?
To annaE please note correct spelling of my last name "Hagan" not "Hagen"
thanks
