why is this happening...

About a month ago I noticed that I had a penile discharge from me penis which I attributed as being gonorrhea, urethritis, or chlaymdia. A week later I went to the hospital and was given azithromycin, cipro, and flagyl to kill the bacteria. It seemed to have worked for about a week and a half until Inoticed that fluid began coming thru me penis during bowel movement... The sensation was as if there was a fluid moving thru the penis close to the tip...its clear and looks like semen but I'm not sure if it is... there is also times to where I wake up in the morning and it feels as though there is fluid sitting inside my penis, but it "never" drips out. I went back to the doctoe and was given zithromax and also a perscription for levaquin. I was told by my doctor that cultures taken from my penis with the swab tests I was given and urine examinations showed no evidence of chlamydia, gonorrhea, or a UTI. I have been sexually aroused at times during this situation and haven't had sex since I noticed these problems.
So far Its 50/50 with the medicines success. I've had bowel movement without discharge and with it, and it never hurts at all. My testicles don't hurt and there is no burning, yet I have felt an itch here and there when it comes out. I had a bowel movement last night after being sexually aroused and a lot of fluid came out during my bowel movement...do you know why this may be happening? Also is it a possibility that there may be a semen buildup which is cauding this to occur? I'm trying my hardest to stop this but I don't know what to do.

HIV window is 3 months, and at 10 weeks, its probably around 98% accurate.  I wouldn't bother retesting.

The rest needs to be posted in the urology forum.  Its well beyond the std forum scope now.

Hello....me again...good news and bad...
I started megadosing on prosvent-a healthy prostate pill, almost 2 weeks ago.  Since then I have not noticed any blood. However about 3-4 weeks ago I noticed a small bump on my scrotum.  It was never huge, but it started out bigger(about as wide as a pencil eraser, slightly raised) it has gone down in size over time though. It is now a little more than half the size it was, and not as raised. I've been readying about cysts, could this be the culprit? I am also no stranger to jock itch, I've been dealing with it on and off for years....could this cause such a thing?
I am now back to thinking about hiv. I went in and got a test last week, which was between 9 and 10 weeks at risk exposure.-negative, thanfully!. I've noticed a sort of soar throat throuhout today as well...i think my lymph nodes are swollen, but I cant really tell...not to worried about that. What are the odds? I've been hearing all sorts of window periods...3 months, 6 months, a year? Ugh, are these overly conservative figures or what? I know that I'm sounding paranoid, but I obviously am, simply because all of this started 2 weeks after unprotected sex.
I have a Dr.'s appt scheduled for next week, but I dont think I can make it until then without hearing some expert advice........
Any replies would be most greatly appreciated

This is no longer an std question, and I don't know the answers for you.  You need to post in the urology forum.

I forgot to mention, I used the bathroom this morning to urinate andni checked my urine for cloudiness or anything in whcih there wasn't any but I did touvh the urination in which I  noticed a very small strand when trying to separate I with my fingertips I guess.. And with that, I meant to ask in addtion to my previous comment, does anyone know of how the bacteria is drained out of ur body? In my case, I was under the assumption that wit the medicine I was taking, that bacteria would leave through my urination and stool. I wasn't sure.  I really think that the bacteria which is there if any is beginning to move.  Like I was saying earlier, my penis doesn't really feel like there's anything in there in terms of fluid, my urination isn't cloudy, and during my recent stools, no fluids came thru my penis outside of just urination.

I have a really interesting question about my situation now... sorry varri. It seems that I've caught a mini case of diarrhea from some food which has me going to the bathroom to stool a lot but, I'm now noticing that fluid isn't coming out anymore and my penis doesn't really have a stuffy feeling anymore, nor do I feel fluid coming up thru the penis during the stool. A very VERY minute drop came out yesterday, just small enough for a little string, but  that was it though. I did want to say tho that a week has now passed since I've taken the azithromycin and levaquin. I wanted to know 3 things....

1)  if those meds are indeed strong enough to clear up the fluid secretion

2) How long would it truly take, (a honest estimate) for those meds to pass thru the body before seeing some type of result, my belief was 7 days, but some say up to two weeks?

3) if a buildup of feces could be the cause of fluid to come out of the penis.

Yes, that's how you'd do it.  You can post in the urology forum for more info on this.

I dont believe that they've cultured my semen. How is that done? Would I have to ejaculate and give them a sample?
I'm going to luck for a new urologists soon so maybe I'll ask him about that.

Oh and it might be a good idea for you both to post in the urology forum as all of your std tests are negative.  You'd probably get more help there.

I went in for an ultrasound on my prostate today, and everything was normal.  I've had every test possible says my urologists. "Nothings wrong so we're not going to worry" he always says....well I'm still worrying. I'm ejaculating within 2 minutes when I have sex, and having abnormal discharges so obviously everything is not normal. I'm used to going for at least 30 minutes, Im only 18 years old, prostate problems are something I didnt expect to deal with for at least another 20-30 years.
I've read the article as well and like you I feel no pain.... There is very little that pertains to me in that article. I'm just hoping that the symptoms will just go away on their own since I have no help from doctors, medicine, or anything....

I've been struggling with similar issue for the pass 6 weeks.  I have had that discharge during tough bowel movements, but I mostly see a blood discharge.  The discharge seems to get worse when I have been sexually aroused and have not ejaculated. I have ejaculated several times a week hoping this would help, but it just doesnt seem to.. Maybe worth a shot for you though.
I was also prescribed a 4 week supply of doxycycleine, which I dont think helped.
This has all started 2 weeks after unprotected sexual intercourse with a new partner and it ***** to not have any clue of what the problem is! I dont even know if its from sex or other causes. I have been tested for ghonnera/chlamydia and had many urinaryalysis....everythings been negative. Sorry, but I have no idea of what the problem is, my doctor first diagnosed me with prostatitis but nothings clearing it up, so I'm begging to worry.  If you find anything out, pls let me know.

I will most definitely try that.. Do you know by any chance though what I could attribute the feeling of fluid in the penis to, or even the little itchy feeling?

You can try it.  Are you masturbating at all?  If that doesn't help, then you know its something you need to get checked out.

I took the levaquin for 1 day along with the zithromax.. I was given those meds this past monday and I think the turn around time for the zithromax to work is 7 to 10 days so I was going to wait and see what would happen from there. And no I've had no prostate exam done. I didn't even think of that honestly.. I thought I had chlamydia or urethritis based on the symptoms I hd which was mainly the discharge on its own but it stopped after the meds.. .. Its like I was saying before though I was absolutely fine for at least a week and a half until I noticed that. I'm only 25 yrs old. I wondered about the prostatis thing, but I thought that I woud experience pain in my prostate gland or something of that nature. Everything is normal except for the discharge. Do you think that an ejaculation could solve the problem also? For it would excercise my pelvic and prostate muscles?

Sounds like prostatitis.  Have you had a prostate exam done?  You should.

How long are you taking the levaquin for?  My guess is that your doctor is treating you as though you have prostatitis, but you need a further exam to know for sure.
