CERVICLE DISC DEGENERATION

Dear sir,
               I have tolerable pain on my left shoulder to arm some times but daily i am facing this problem since two months.Right now i am working in Qatar, when i went to India i consulted two doctors and i was advised to take x ray.
As per x ray one doctor said there is no indication for Cervicle dics problem and the other doctor said with out seeing the x ray that i am having Disc problem but no need to worry.Now i reached Qatar, every day i feeling tolerable pain but irritating,now i am afraiding that i am having CDDand also i am doing Exercise as p[er Physio adv.Please let me know if i am having CDD is it curable(My age is only 31).Some time if  i have motion problem that perticular day i am feeling this problem.

Hi,

Please relax. 90% cases of cervical disc disease can be managed by conservative treatment alone.
First and foremost an exact diagnosis has to be made. I would suggest you to please schedule an appointment with a neurologist and undergo a complete neurological exam and tests like an X ray or a CT scan.
In the meantime you can do neck exercises, also avoid activities that require you to bend your neck constantly. You can take OTC pain killers for pain till you are able to see a neurologist. Do keep us posted!
