Hi,
I've been suffering from left leg's weakness. I visited diagnostic centre and sought advice for getting reliek of the weakness. But nobody could find out the cause of the disease. They did MRI of lumbosacral part. They did not ask me about any injury on my head or spine. I had an injury on my head 5 months before the weakness.
Would you please provide me suggession in this regard?
Good day!

Hi
Most head injuries are closed injuries, and may manifest no visible injury. A head injury may not cause immediate symptoms. It can take several hours for symptoms to appear when there is enough swelling in the brain.
General weakness in the arms or legs is a common result of mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI). It may affect one side or both sides and may affect either upper or lower limbs or both, depending upon the site of injury.
Other late symptoms may include headache, convulsions, vacant or dazed expression, drowsiness, vomiting for no apparent reason, loss of memory of the injury, clear fluid or blood coming from the nose or ear, difficulty speaking, dizziness, numbness, paralysis, sleeping more than usual, difficult to wake up, loss of coordination and unequal pupil size.
You should consult your doctor to treat the underlying cause. Physical or occupational therapy will be helpful to cure the muscle weakness in the arms and legs. Do write in after your doctor’s opinion and in case you need any other information.
Take care
I am not sure but recently on Oct 10th (my bday) i went to catch a piece of pizza from falling, I used super fast right arm reflex... the blood felt as if it was compressed suddenly and shot into the right side of my head capillaries... since then, it's been a month, I still have head pain in 3 locations in my head... the back right behind ear in the neckhole, just in front and up above the right ear, the top back right side of my head, also leading to pains OCCASIONALLY OR RARELY in my right temple, the front of my head (mostly on the right forehead, sometimes both, not normally pain but pressure there), the back left side of my head (rare pain, normally more pressure). When the head pains are bad, my heart has pains on the left side below my peck. Sometimes I get pain in the neck, i've had it on either side.... On the upper right peck I occasionally will feel pain as well. While breathing in after walking, I feel something like clots moving through my body (heart will hurt on left side mainly), it's harder to breathe sometimes for awhile... causing muscle spasms and lately my right leg will fall asleep, just above the knee. I believe head injuries will affect people more that have bad circulation, especially with European decent. I swear that I can feel the clots moving around and breaking down sometimes... If I get too excited it's like ripping those damaged regions of the head back open (hemorrhage) and then I have to wait for it to clot and heal again, who knows if hard walking/training affects it to make it worse? I am affected also by hot or cold water on my hands, dull/sharp pains on the right side of my head from those. Left leg/left side of neck and head seem warmer than on the right. ALL the damage seems to be on the right side of the body... floating around... It has taken forever to heal! I knew i was in for something big when I injured myself that day. Lately after thinking I was healed, I head banged for a camera shot and I hurt myself all over again... now it's worse.
