Breast retraction

Hi,

I got a ultrasound guided breast biopsy done recently. They took 24 samples/biopsies and they said it was  benign. What I now notice is a slight retraction on the breast where the lump is located. Is this because the sample was taken out? is it normal?

Due to the fact that 24 samples were taken there may certainly be some scarring within the breast tissue. Given some time this may correct itself. Healing of the tissues does take some time to occur.   Regards ....
