A while ago I saw an episode on the Discovery channel or one of those science channels, regarding a patient with uncontrollable hiccups that wouldn't stop for weeks or months and none of the doctors could stop it. At the end, the cure was to apply pressure right between the eyebrows. So take your thumb and index finger and pinch about a half inch above the bridge of the nose and see what happens. I tried it only once and even though I wasn't hiccuping very long, a few minutes, it worked for me.
Good luck

Hiccups are the result of muscle spasms of the diaphragm and will disappear on taking magnesium.
