left side tingling

Hello, I am a 20 year old male.  I have been for the last month having on and off tingling on the TOTAL left side of my body. Not just arms and legs, but back, face, neck, and chest.  The tingling would be on a scale of 1 to 10 a 3.  It doesn't hurt, no loss of strength, no loss of coordination, no twitches or cramping (except left bicep, very rarely though) JUST TINGLING.  I have been diagnosed with anxiety.  I have noticed a very weird feeling above my left collarbone, same feeling just weirder.  I  research everything and I have believed I have ALS or MS, but with just tingling and being 20 I doubt it.  Also, I know that Asparetame can have some weird reactions with the body and I have been drinking diet soda for the last month.  I am 6'0 170 lbs and 20 years old.  Any reply would be great.

Hi John,
I am currently researching everything related to similar problem that you have. I am 38. My symptoms are tinglin sensations on the left side of body, IBS, white noise in the left ear, a bit of weakness/tiredness in the left side, pins and needles. The reason I decided to write is because I stoped eating sugar but love sweet in my tea so I substitued it for all sort-based sweetners including aspartame-based. I will stop using sweeterns and see what happens. I have anziety as well. Can anyone shed some light on what sideffects aspartam can have?
Regards,
Nik

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
Tingling is mostly associated with anxiety but the adverse effects of Aspartame cannot be ignored as well . Please stop consuming diet soda . You must consult a physician for the management of the symptoms . Anxiety can be managed with antidepressants and antianxiety drugs  to control the symptoms . Hope this helps you . Take care and regards !

Hello. sorry to hear your not feeling well. I suffer from anxiety  as well and have had tingling run up my back, right side, arms. For me this side of anxiety did not show itself until recently (past 2weeks) since I have been sick and really stressed out. You should talk to your Dr. about your anxiety and get some meds to help if you haven't already. One thing you can do is stop the asparetame consumption too see if that is a problem.
