       I hope you are starting to feel a little better!  I had no idea this was necessary for gamma knife!  I can understand that you mustn't move even a millimeter during the procedure, but I assumed general anesthesia and a brace (without screws) was sufficient. This looks drastic, but if it ensures protection of your optic nerves from the radiation, then, yeah, it's worth it, but, sheesh!
By the way, you are a beautiful woman.

thanks enzymelover for your kind words! i am feeling better now but still a little sore on the back of head. the good thing about the frame was i dident feel the screws goin in and sat up and watched them putting it on. while in the gamma knife the frame was locked down. i did start feeling the screws in the back of my skull being removed . the gamma wasent anything compaired to the craniotomy i was facing. i took a leap of faith doing gamma instead of the craniotomy and pray it was a good choice. thanks
