I believe they're called ice plants, but I could be wrong. They have a thick and intense root system and seem ideal for bluffs

My hunch is they would be fine, as long as they get plenty of water. But a garden center would know best. They are all over California's coast, BTW. They're in San Diego as well as up here in the bay area.

Very pretty! When did you go to Moss Beach? Did you spend any time hanging out at the Moss Beach Distillery? I used to really like that place. Even though it's usually very cold, you can watch the fog rolling in, eat fish and chips (yum!), and get all cud

I did eat there. So-so food and very pricey, but the view is to dies for. No sightings of the "Woman in blue", which is their ghost :-)
