Med causing deppresion
My parents recently got me put on a new med but I don't know it's name. Anyways it's been a couple weeks since I started on it and I have been more depressed and all my friends say I act weird around them and they won't hang with me at school. Overall my performance at school and concentration is better but I really want off the med. I mentioned this to my parents and they told I wasn't going off the meds anytime soon even after I explained this situation to them. I really want off this med. What should I do?
Your parents are going on what the doctor says but you need to talk to the doctor and let he/she know what is going on and how you feel. The doctor can work with you with it. Just take the medicine until you go to the doctor and then talk them about it.
